Manifesto

We were born from a quiet refusal.

The fashion industry produces 92 million tons of textile waste every year. A truckload of clothing is buried or burned every second. More than half of all garments produced are discarded within a year. Twenty years ago, brands released two collections annually. Today they release twenty-four. This cycle isn't called fashion — it's seasonal disposability. And the planet is paying the price.

Truebase96 was born as an answer to this cycle. Not to sell more — but to make less, and make it right. Not to invent a new season — but to refuse the lie of the season itself. Not to renew fashion — but to say that fashion itself is what needs renewal.

We believe one thing: the right fabric, the right cut, the right weight, made once, lasts a long time. A 520-gram cashmere-merino sweater isn't a design decision — it's a lifetime promise. We spent two years on the drape of a 420-gram cashmere-silk-cotton blend. Because a pair of trousers should last ten years — and we should think about it for at least that long.

We have five collections: BASE, OZONE, ONYX, SIGNAL, FORM. They are not seasons — they are layers. They live side by side all year. None replaces another; each completes the others. We don't discount, because our first price is the right price. We don't go out of style, because we don't design trends. We don't sell out, because what's good gets remade.

This brand is not a collection. It is a library.

If what we wear says who we are, we are those who refuse to be consumers. We are part of a quiet resistance. We are the ones who don't feel obliged to renew every season. We aren't resisting brands — we're resisting the rhythm the industry imposes.

Owning Truebase96 isn't owning a garment. It's owning a stance.

We engineer permanence.
